wow... what a perfect way to turn twilight into even MORE of a teeny-bopper movie. I love dakota, think she's adorable and a great actress- but twilight does not need a big name teen. when is summit gonna WAKE UP and realize that twilight doesn't have to be a young teen movie? the books are good enough that there are MILLIONS of people outside of the 'typical demographic' in love with the stories. Plus.. we have MONEY... cater to us!! please, people who check comments, pass my message along to the big wigs at summit and chris weitz. I know they will listen to me, then cast Kristin Chenoweth like EW suggested, make DOUBLE what they did on twilight and give me Rob pattinson to have my way with as my reward.:) letterstotwilight.com

Yes, they should learn from the Harry Potter franchise and put actors in who fit the role, not select them purely based on their name or star power.
I think if they listened more to the fanbase they would be much more successful.
