Letterman's being his usual self in attempting to get under his guest's skin.
If he's aware Keith Urban was not well rec'd in Country Music in Australia, it's rude to bring it up.
Kidman is a guest.
Letterman's reference to Nicole's face did smack of sarcasm in his tone.
I think Letterman should interview Dr. Phil, or Dr. Phil work with Letterman - maybe it's a hormonal thing with Letterman, he has a subtle way of using innuendo and attempting to sully his guests.
I'm not sure why he's been on the air for so long?

Interesting. I remember when she & Russell Crowe did that Oprah Oscar special back in 2007 & Russell Crowe made the point that it took a lot for Keith Urban to just "pick up his toothbrush" and check in for treatment as well as a few other complimentory comments. She made the comment that maybe she should go & get him so Russell could interview him. She certainly likes being the center attention.
